About JMD Software Solutions

JMD Software Solutions (JMDs) is a strategic division of JMD Group Limited and was established to provide a full range of bespoke software solutions to our clients. In addition, JMDs supplies IT administration and hardware and software support to the entire JMD Group.

The principal project work undertaken by JMDs personnel currently includes the development of bespoke data acquisition software using LabView® and website development and maintenance. The JMDs software engineers have a good understanding of the primary project work undertaken by the other Group Divisions and are frequently called on to produce utility programmes, macros and other software tools to increase productivity and to maintain the competitive edge enjoyed by JMD.

As a strategic division of the JMD Group, the Software Solutions Division has access to a vast array of resources and in conjunction with specialists from the other JMD Group divisions is able to provide effective, lean and targeted software products which complement the project work and improve the quality of the deliverables.

The original JMD Group company, JMDynamics Limited, was established in 1998 in Glasgow, Scotland, where the Group is currently based. The organisation currently employs 20 members of staff, the majority of whom are skilled engineers ranging from Consultant to Graduate Level. With over 80 years of experience in the field of dynamics which can be brought to bear on any noise and/or vibration problem, JMD Group engineers are able to quickly identify, assess and resolve dynamics problem before expensive failures occur. In fact, our range of Vibration Risk Management services allows potential problems to be rectified before they even leave the drawing board.
